This is a large oil painting. Every Tuesday evening at my atelier we would eat pizza and then draw or paint from the live model after our normal classes. The focus was on creating a beautiful light and atmospheric shadows. The mantra, ‘Light is Form and Shadow is Atmosphere’, was key here. .
