Artist Statement

Jennifer Marie Keller creates paintings that whisper secrets with symbols and stories hidden in plain sight, waiting to be discovered.

Trained at the Ravenswood Atelier of Classical Painting and Drawing, Keller studied the rigorous techniques of the 19th-century masters. Ironically, this structured discipline became her freedom. It gave her the tools to bend realism toward myth and mystery

Each painting is an unfinished story. One that changes as you do. Her hope is not to explain, but to awaken curiosity and the sense that you’ve stumbled into something meant only for you.

A Rare Education

The Ravenswood Atelier of Classical Painting and drawing

Jennifer Marie Keller spent 5 years immersed in rigorous, old-world art training at the Ravenswood Atelier, modeled after the 19th-century French academic tradition. The Atelier emphasized classical methods of technique such as painting the nude model, working strictly from life, and only under natural light.

In her last two year, Jennifer Marie was invited to assist in teaching, deepening her mastery through mentorship. This rare immersive education shaped the technique and philosophy behind her work today.
