From Sketch to Life: Bringing My Persimmon Tree into Focus (part 3)

I have a small painting sketch on top of my easel. It’s a close up of a persimmon tree. I’m referencing the painting sketch to now bring the big painting to life.

I like to work general to specific and now I’m starting the fun stage of finding the specific colors and brushstrokes that make up the leafs, branches, twigs, and persimmons.

I’m moving it from a blurry vision to one in focus.
